What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I lead a fantastic group of people to do amazing things for our audience and clients. 

What did you do before you worked at NY Report? 

I have spent my entire career working with privately held businesses, first as a CPA, then CFO, and then CEO. Then I decided to fulfill my dream by becoming my own boss.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Being a dad to Mateo and Carolina and a husband to Maria. Playing guitar in my band, Fantastic People. Working out/running. Always reading.

Where do you live?

With the aforementioned family (plus our dog Lucky) on the Upper West Side.

Favorite experience?

Running the NYC Marathon, attending two Woodstocks (actually, ‘94 was great, ‘99 sucked), going to about 400+ concerts.

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

Content creation in many forms and lead editor of NY Report properties.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I was managing editor at New Jersey Monthly magazine. I’ve also worked as a newspaper reporter, production editor for non-fiction books, and assistant director of corporate communications.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Playing cars, throwing a football, finger painting, and reading books with my son. With any remaining time, I’m usually cooking and/or drinking wine.

Where do you live?

New Jersey

Favorite book?

It’s a tossup between Middlesex, The Great Gatsby, and Bossypants.

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I'm the creative tour-de-force behind the magazine's design.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I was the art director of Pharmaceutical Executive. Previously, I worked at Wine Spectator magazine for five years.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

I'm in graduate school, so more than likely I am reading or studying. I also enjoy hiking and athletics.

Where do you live?

I live in Astoria, Queens.

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I update the website, commission, edit, and upload blogs, and help put the magazine together.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I was senior editor at viewlondon.co.uk, an online guide to London, where I commissioned and edited film and restaurant reviews and managed a large team of freelancers. I was also a research assistant at New Jersey Monthly magazine.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Baking, reading, reading about baking, and slowly fixing up my apartment.

Where do you live?

In Brooklyn, with my husband, several tribes of stray cats, and a surprising amount of raccoons.

Favorite food?

Thai food, which I can eat every day.

Rose Sullivan

Production Director

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I liaise between NY Report staff and print/distribution vendors and troubleshoot all production related items, coordinate cost-saving and quality improvement functions with the general manager and art director, and coordinate schedules.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I was a production consultant to small to mid-size publishing operations, such as Chief Executive Magazine, Diane Digital Magazine, Leverage Media Custom Publishing, American Craft Council, and Bloomberg Markets Magazine. I’ve held various upper production management positions at magazines such as Woman's Day, Working Woman, Ms., and Sassy

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Taking care of my home, hanging out with my yellow lab, Gracie, trying to walk 10,000 steps a day, and watching Downton Abbey and Mad Men!

Where do you live?

In Ridgewood, NJ, with my dog and some other nameless critters in our backyard… and sometimes basement.

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I wear many hats and I love it! From financials to management, I have a bird's eye view of the goings-on of NY Report.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

Prior to working at NY Report I was a freelance small business manager / bookkeeper. Prior to that I owned and operated my own business, a retail store in Keyport, NJ. For the last 10 years I have worked in the small business entrepreneur space, which is where I thrive to be!

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Spoiling my dogs, Lucy (a vivacious terrier rescue) and Farley (a grumpy purebred Jack Russell), snowboarding, photography, cooking, DIY projects on my house, and hanging with much-loved people.

Laurence Harbor, NJ.

Favorite food?

I'm a foodie, enough said. Life's too short to drink cheap wine

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

I'm in charge of the publication's marketing strategy. This includes implementing audience development campaigns to increase circulation (both print and online) and the production and marketing of our highly acclaimed business events.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I worked on the marketing team at GT Culture LTD, a UK-based company, where I helped launch a start-up business to what’s now a major player in the industry.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

I'm a bit of a foodie, so I'm always exploring the city for latest hot spots. If I'm not eating, I'm sipping cocktails in the West Village or practicing photography all over the boroughs.

Manhattan

Favorite food?

Anything that contains truffle shavings, truffle oil, or truffle salt.

My primary focus is to help connect marketers to CEOs and business owners of companies with 100 or fewer employees.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I was the vice president of sales for prestigious multi-product media company serving C-level executives.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Skiing with my family, reading, working out, spending time with other friends and families, and being a mom.

In Long Valley, New Jersey with my wonderful husband, Steve, and our two beautiful daughters, Olivia and Samantha.

Two of my favorite movies are Dirty Dancing and The King and I.

What do you do at The New York Enterprise Report?

We believe marketers deserve a media partner that will provide unprecedented access to, and engagement with business owners and decision makers. I advise our clients and sponsors on the best ways to reach their prospects.

What did you do before you worked at NY Report?

I began my career in marketing and advertising with Creative Loafing Media, an alternative, weekly newspaper in the greater Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area. After moving to New York, I transitioned to conference and events services at Worldwide Business Research and the Human Capital Institute as a director of sponsorship sales, where my responsibilities included customizing marketing platforms for various B2B industry verticals.

When you’re not working, what are you doing?

Working more. Absorbing information of the useful and useless varieties. Visiting with others. 

Where do you live?

I live in the bustling borough of Manhattan…and I’m almost never at home.
