How did NY Report start?
The brainchild of Robert Levin, NY Report began in 2003. Levin’s vision involved bringing together experts in all areas of business development to entrepreneurs in the New York metro area who could benefit from their advice and expertise. Its first incarnation was NYReport.com, followed by the first print issue and event a year later.
Who reads NY Report?
More than 100,000 business owners and executives turn to our content to learn about better ways to run their companies. Nearly 75 percent of our readers are CEOs, presidents, and partners of organizations.

- Our Small Business Awards recognizes businesses for their accomplishments and best practices, as well as influential leaders within the community. It attracts around 400 people, which might have something to do with why it’s often referred to as the networking event of the year.
- The Best Accountant & Attorneys for Privately Held Businesses celebrates the accountants and attorneys who have made an outstanding impact in helping their clients succeed.
- At The International Business Opportunities Conference, attendees will hear from experts on the critical information and resources needed to thrive in the growing global marketplace
