With our award-winning print and online magazine, coupled with highly-regarded events, NY Report has become the media to turn to by both large and small advertisers who want to reach business owners through targeted and integrated programs. Over the past 4 years we have grown rapidly, but we need smart and hungry account managers to get to the next level.
Responsibilities and day-to-day functions include:
- Prospecting
- Qualifying & disqualifying
- Closing new business/generate revenue
- Understanding all NY Report products, services and, capabilities and how they help clients
- Maintaining regular dialog with existing clients
- Leveraging our CRM system
- Portraying a positive image of the New York Enterprise Report
Requirements:
We are seeking someone that:
- is driven, energetic, VERY motivated, and a self starter
- has no fear of cold calling
- has at least 1 year of sales experience
- has the ability to sell comprehensive packages (e.g., print, event sponsorships, online etc.)
- is Internet and computer literate (CRM)
- is looking to grow with a company (that is a fun place to work)
- uses a comprehensive sales approach
- likes to attend networking events
This position is perfectly suited for a highly motivated salesperson who:
- is working in an environment where there is little opportunity for growth,
- wants to sell a product(s) that has an impact to its audience (our readers are raving fans), or
- does not want to be restricted by a limited territory
Compensation is based on a salary plus a generous commission. The successful candidate will work in our midtown office.
