3 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Skip Summer Vacation
Think you’re too busy to take a vacation? You might want to think again. NY Report blogger Robert Basso offers his reasons why taking a summer break actually makes you better at what you do—no excuses. Here’s part of his list:
1. Test your contingency plan.
That’s right—every business owner needs to have a plan in place for their staff to run the business in case of an emergency. If you don’t have a contingency plan or haven’t reviewed the one you have in a while, this is the perfect reason to create one, or dust it off and update it. Make sure your staff is prepared to handle the day-to-day business in your absence, with minimal interruption of your vacation.
