The third annual Best Accountants and Attorneys for Privately Held Companies awards, presented by The New York Enterprise Report, took place June 13th, 2012. This awards program acknowledged some of the New York tri-state area’s best business advisors.
More than 150 accountants, attorneys, and business owners were in attendance as host Tamsen Fadal revealed this year’s winners alongside Robert Levin, CEO and publisher of The New York Enterprise Report. Fadal is an Emmy Award-winning journalist and WPIX-TV morning news host as well as the co-founder of Shansen Jewelry.
The 2012 winners were announced at the Trump Soho in Manhattan and winners were chosen based on their great impact in helping clients succeed.

The winners and finalists of the Best Attorneys and Accountants for Privately Held Companies have a track record of being trusted advisors that have helped their clients achieve exceptional outcomes," said Levin.

Rising Star (Accountant) – Vincenzo Villamena of Online Taxman, LLC
Service Area Firm Award (Accountant) – Grassi & Co
Attorney of the Year – Paul Wilson of PH Wilson Law & Consulting
Law Firm of the Year – Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt
Industry Practice (Attorney) - Fernando Pinguelo of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus
Rising Star (Attorney) – Jason Klimpl of Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt
Service Area Firm Award (Attorney) – PH Wilson Law & Consulting
Lifetime Achievement (Attorney) – Arnie Herz, Attorney at Law
