Work The Room
Cheni Yerushalmi, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Sunshine Suites
Monday, June 25, 2012, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Description: Ever wonder how certain people have the ability to work a room. It not only appears that they know everyone in the room, you believe it’s natural for them. The truth is, it’s not easy at all. The difference between you and them is that they’ve done their homework. Sun Tzu, a Chinese military strategist 2,500 years ago wrote, “every battle is won before it is ever fought.” Before attending a meeting, a networking event, conference etc. it is vital to be clear about your intentions and who is going to be in the room. In this interactive session, you will learn how to have calculated conversations, turn conversations into mentorships, client leads and friendship. Your ability to communicate your personal brand will lead to your ability to close business, partnerships and relationships.
You will learn to:
•Create new approaches to starting conversations based on your audience
•Identify people of value before you need them
•Over deliver on your promises with little effort
•Improve your ability to communicate your personal brand
