Justin Perreault, General Partner, Commonwealth Capital Ventures

Justin J. Perreault is a general partner of Commonwealth Capital Ventures. He has more than 15 years of venture capital and operating experience in information technology industries. Justin’s particular areas of interest and experience are in enterprise application, infrastructure software, and software as a service (SaaS) business models.

Prior to joining Commonwealth, Justin was COO and later CEO of Object Design, a publicly-held software company. He was part of the senior team that helped to grow the company’s revenue from $20 million to $70 million, take the company public on NASDAQ, and become the leading company in its market segment. Earlier, he was a vice president at Harvard Management Company, responsible for information technology venture investments, and a consultant with McKinsey & Co., Inc.

Justin’s current investments include ByAllAccounts, Expressor Software, Kadient, Ounce Labs, Reval and SoundBite Communications (NASDAQ: SDBT).

Justin received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, summa cum laude, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
