Mark Newman

Mark A. Newman comes to The New York Enterprise Report after over a year with the commercial real estate publication Facilities Design & Management where he was that publication\'s Managing Editor. During his tenure at Facilities he received a Jesse H. Neal Award for Outstanding Business Journalism for coverage of the September 11th attacks and the aftermath. Prior to joining Facilities, Newman oversaw the re-launch of the esteemed public relations and corporate image publication Reputation Management. He also served as Editor of Lighting Design & Application magazine, published by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. His experience prior to LD+A runs the gamut from script writing for a cable talk show, medical journals, and as an editor and reporter for newspapers in his native Alabama.Newman is 1986 graduate of the University of Alabama and has been living in New York City since 1990, thus officially making him a New Yorker, albeit with a southern accent.
