An entrepreneur at heart, Michael became a business man at the age of eight with a school supply sales ring at his elementary school and then graduated to a candy ring with several students as his employees. Fast forward a couple of years and Michael had developed a reputation for event planning during his time in college which led him to a golden opportunity with NYC’s iconic Webster Hall owner and future partner, Sean McGarr.

The two went on to open Village Pourhouse in the East Village in August 2006 which has since won several awards including “Best Beer Bar” by BlackBook Magazine and Time Out New York.  In 2008, they opened SideBAR, Vintage Irving and a second Village Pourhouse location on the Upper West Side. In March of that year, the team took their success to another level when they opened the celebrity-favorite nightclub and opulent event space, Hudson Terrace. Since then, Michael and Sean have opened Dino’s and two more Village Pourhouse locations, one on Restaurant Row in Times Square and another across the Hudson River in Hoboken.

The company maintains an active role in the execution of the best known pub-crawls in New York City including but not limited to the following: Cinco de Mayo Pub Crawl, Snuggie Pub Crawl, Halloween Pub Crawl and of course the biggest; St.Patty's Day Pub Crawl which made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for over 6,000 crawl participants. Michael also owns two event planning companies, Corporate Event Management and Disco Sushi, both of which were founded his freshman year at NYU.  In addition, Michael is founder of newyearseve.com, pubcrawls.com, funbars.com and ournextdate.com.
