LetsLunch.com is a new resource that uses information from users’ LinkedIn profiles to find relevant professionals to match for face-to-face networking. To get started, users input their location and availability and LetsLunch identifies other users with potential common interests. Two days before the lunch, the site sends you an email describing who you’re having lunch with and a selection of restaurants that are convenient for both of you. From there, you can accept or deny the meeting.
If you decide to lunch, you can give feedback following the meeting to shape future matches. The more positive feedback a user receives from past lunch dates, the better his or her LetsLunch rating becomes. Highly rated users are matched with VIP users, like CEOs of wellknown companies or influential members of the media. Service is free, but lunch is on you.
