To help manage all your social media accounts cleanly and efficiently, try these free (or inexpensive) solutions:
For an e-mail summary of your social network updates: NutshellMail
Throughout the day, we find ourselves checking the company’s Facebook fan page, a Twitter account and/or LinkedIn group’s discussion, thereby interrupting our workflow. That’s why there’s NutshellMail, a free service that makes copies of all the latest updates in your social networking accounts and places them in one email. You can set up the service to see the email once a day, or multiple times to correlate with your schedule.
Currently, NutshellMail supports Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn, and Ning.
To manage your social media status: Postling
Just post a new blog entry or business announcement and want to share it with your network? Instead of logging onto separate social media platforms, you can log onto Postling and update all your networks at once.
With Postling, not only can you update Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Drupal, and more in one quick post, but you can write and publish your blogs to Tumblr and Wordpress, too, as well as schedule posts in advance.
Postling gathers on your dashboard all comments readers leave on your various networks and allows you to reply. You can also read and respond to customer reviews on Yelp or CitySearch.
Postling doesn’t limit the amount of social media accounts linked to your profile, and allows three licenses per business for free.
To manage and build your social community: Seesmic
Seesmic is a social web application, similar to Postling, that helps integrate multiple social media accounts. There are also desktop and mobile versions that allow you to post from your phone or work/home computer.
In addition to allowing you to update all your statuses at once, your Seesmic dashboard provides you a wealth of information, like where your followers are (using Google Maps). Seesmic also translates information into different languages and the “Mr. Tweet” feature helps you identify your dedicated followers, and equips you with information to better engage your network.
Seesmic web supports Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Buzz, and more.
