Using 4info’s Web-based forms and tools, you can set up a keyword that triggers the retrieval of the appropriate data from a content feed on your Web server. Users can receive your content by using their cell phone to text a keyword (e.g., “valves”). 4info then translates the SMS (short message service ) text message into a Web application request for your Web server, takes the result and translates it back into an SMS message to the requester’s cell phone. You can even use a keyword and a search term (e.g., “valves Chicago”). Instead of your having to search a website for information, 4info’s service sends the query to the website with the keyword.

It then returns the results of your query as a text message. This can work with any data you have on a website, including product inventory, sales data, project status information and more. This can be used internally by your staff as well as by your customers.
