A Security Blanket for Your Business

A checklist for keeping your company's information safe

Possibly the single biggest change in IT security has come with the proliferation of wireless technology. Many wireless implementations make it as easy for someone to “jump” on your corporate network as it is to jump on the Internet at your local Starbucks. If your company does require wireless access for guests or employees, it’s best to seek assistance from a security professional skilled in wireless technology to make sure access is limited to approved users.

The above is just an overview of some security measures you must have in this day and age, when the real economic assets of many companies reside on networks. Unless someone on your staff is fully up to speed on the latest threats and the tools to protect against them, you should strongly consider working with a consultant who can ensure that you are protected and who can help you perform regular reviews of your security systems.
